30 plants - say what?

Hello!

Can you eat 30 plants a week?  The ZOE program recommends eating a variety of 30 plants a week to improve your gut microbiome.  There is much research behind this recommendation; here is one article explaining the research - Eating 30 Plants per Week: How To Do It and Why.  Seeds are a great way to get more plants in your diet.  I keep bags of many different seeds available in my kitchen and sprinkle seeds on just about anything.  Today, I made granola – oats, walnuts, hazelnuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seed, coconut, cherries – that’s 8 different plants.  I am always adding plant-based extras in dishes.  Salads are great with “extras” like sunflower seeds and nuts; oatmeal with added seeds, fruits and nuts; there are lots of way to add plants to your diet.

Artisianna Fruit Truffles are plant based and add to that count of 30 plants.  The Seedy Mango flavor contains 10 plants!  You can enjoy an awesome treat and keep your gut happy.  It’s a win!!

How do you add more plants to your diet?
